| | MY first Chord Melody Hi togheter,
before you show the chord melody and get a hysterical laughter, you must know that I'm a beginner in jazz, I'm not so practice with computer and the software that I use is Guitar Pro 4.
I know there is some wrong in the piece, but I try that becouse I will learn to make chord melody my self.
Don't worry! I'm happy for ever critique and your opinion is very important for me.
Please be honest to me.
Hey Matt I'm waiting for your opinion too.
Thanks. |

| | Hey Mazza, great chart! Those might be "beginner" chords, but they are the voicing's that all the greats used. You would be suprised to see how much of Joe Pass's solo stuff contains those voicing's, as well as Barney Kessel and Wes among others.
The software isn't the greatest, but that has nothing to do with you or your arrangment.
I say keep writing arrangements and posting them! This is a great start, you should have seen the first chord melody I ever wrote, ouch, not great.

| | Thank you for the kindly worth, but i'm surprise that you don't have any critique, that make me happy.
I know GP4 is not the best, Do you think BiaB is better to arrang chord melody? I have the software but I have to learn it.
Thanks very much. |

| | I've never used BIAB to write stuff out, but I think it would be worth trying as the program you're using is pretty hard to read.

| | Hey,
I figured it wouldn't be good for writing. I would suggest checking out Sibelius. It's expensive, but if you're a student, or a teacher, you can get it for about half off.
