Fun stuff.
On a musical level I want it to relax a little more but on a guitar level I understand he was accounting for many details of the original cut simultaneously which are harder to play on a solo guitar.The one place that I feel could be improved voicing wise is the descending octave passage which sounds a little thin. Perhaps adding a major 3rd above the octaves would help. I totally enjoyed hearing it with the acoustic guitar strumming vibe. Thanks for posting.

That was great...

The whispered "Birdland" at the end, adds personality.

Sweet

A+++
I don't think I'll be attempting this arrangement any time soon, but as a firm fan of Weather Report, no disappointment here. Excellent sound quality, varied camera angles; he even has the cheek to look up at the camera whilst belting it out, as if there was no effort involved.
One man band? Pretty damned close...
Thanks for posting; made my evening.

This guy was in an issue of Just Jazz Guitar. I think it was in one of last year's issues. I believe he won a national finger picking championship.

I'd have to go back and re-read the article.

Ah. Simultaneously inspiring/depressing. Really fine playing.

The kind of thing that makes my head spin. Should it inspire me to play more or inspire me to quit? Because I'll never get close to that kind of ability, even if i could devote 8 hours a day to practicing.
