Hi,

If you have a little time and I can find the lead sheet in my files then I could whip one up. It's in Eb. But I f your only going to play it as a solo piece then I could change it to D or E to get more open strings into it. Which key would you prefer?

No, absolutely not. I got one of those once and it was spam.

By the way, I'm almost done. It takes me a while because I have a daytime gig to pay the bills (I'm sending this from work, don't tell my boss) and I only spend about a 1/2 on the computer at night. But I should have it buttoned up by then

John, thanks for all the work you do. Both you and Matt Warnock are really a help and inspiration to a lot of us here.

I tried to access it, but it said you need to allow the sharing. Haven't used this service before, set up an account, but got that message. Ideas? Thanks

Derek, I guess I'll need your "share name" from the site to add you. This might work.

Hello,

Here's a solo in Eb. I reviewed it a few times for errors but hey, you never know. I tried to keep the stretches to a minimum.

One thing I didn't mention before.....

This is the third arraingment I've done for this site. They were a pleasure to do and I hope everybody enjoys them, and get's something out of them. share them with your friends, students, etc... Play em out at the local jam session, etc.

However, the original compostition AND my arraingement are intelectual property. Please feel free to download, print and play these arraingements. Share them if you are so inclined.

I did them in order to promote the art of Jazz Guitar chord melody playing. nothing else.

But......... Any arriangement I do cannot be sold, published for profit or recorded for mass distribution (for profit) without my consent. Public performance is fine. The bottom line is that if your going to make $$ off something I 've done then I think I'm entitled to something. (like credit where credit is due)

I'm sure this type of disclaimer is the same as with anyone putting intelectual property out there on the web. (I'm sure M78W would agree).

enjoy
JW

That worked great, Thanks. I will start working on that at the end of the summer/early fall, when I dust off the 2-3 Christmas tunes I know. Will add this one to the collection.

Hi John,

Just saw this post today while looking for a solo tab for The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting...). I know this post is old, but I'm hopeful you can help. It says "here's a solo in Eb", but I don't see how to access it. Was it an attachment or has it been removed from the post itself???

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for posting this Franco! It's a great arrangement that was freely available from Mr. Leavitt while I was at Berklee. It looks more complicated than it is but still takes some work to get down.

Your welcome. I have a copy of it and then I remembered that I had found on it in a thread on here last year. If you look around and find the thread, it has a couple of other good links. I thought it might come in handy for someone.
