 Roy Wood - Mustard Mustard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4Ti_Byra2c was one of the first Jazz songs I heard as a kid. My brother had it on record and I just loved it. Could anyone help me figuring out which chords are used? Thanks a lot     |

| Not entirely sure, but the first part at least sounds like a sort of reversed Rhythm Changes: ii7 - V7 - I - bIIdim7. The song appears to be in F, so that would be Gm7 - C7 - Fmaj7 - F#dim7. The solo section (at least the first part) sounds like a modified version of "original" Rhythm Changes, in the usual order: F - Dm7 - Gm7 - C7 - F - F - F#7 - F#7. There's a bridge in there in the second part of the solo that goes somewhere a little unexpected. I'd have to sit down for a while to figure out everything by ear, and I just don't have the time now. But maybe this gives you a jump start. |
