Jimmy Wyble/David Oakes

I have been corresponding with a fantastic guitarist in LA, David Oakes, who has been helping Jimmy Wyble transcribe his seminars and notes at Musician's Institute. He sends them to me and I proof-read them and try them out , then he has begun posting them on his site. If you have any of Mr. Wyble's books, and I suggest that you do, these lessons really simplify and explain them and put them into context. There is much here that should have been in the books originally. Also, if you are lucky enough to hear Mr. Oakes play, get ready for a treat; I highly recommend you look him up. This all arose over a chance comment I made on another site that Mr. Oakes saw, leading to this regular correspondence.
