 New member, guitarist Jake Reichbart Hello all! I am new here, although I recognize many of the names as subscribers to my YouTube channel... I'd like to introduce myself: My name is Jake Reichbart and I am a fairly well established guitarist from the greater Detroit region with about 80% of my gigs being solo jazz guitar. I play two restaurants weekly, on Wednesdays (18 years at The Earle!!) and Thursdays, and plenty other stuff on the weekends. I am also a featured instructor at Hal Leonard's guitarinstructor.com. I have a very active YouTube Channel YouTube - Kanaal van jreichbart, I'd welcome you to subscribe, to check out the many videos (most which are solo jazz guitar arrangements of songs you'd not expect) and to leave comments, etc. Well, that's about it, I'll look forward to some interesting discussions. | Welcome to the group Jake. Like you, many of us play solo, and restaurants seem to be one of the more popular places. I have seen some of your vids before, and have always been impressed by how relaxed you are, in addition to the excellent playing. |
