Check This Out! Earliest Memories

I started a thread like this on another forum and thought it might be fun here.
What are your earliest memories of "Jazz" songs from your childhood? This doesn't need to be the one tune that turned you onto jazz,just an early memory.Mine Happens to be "Stranger on the Shore" by Aker Bilk,it always reminds me of my gran.Ok have fun wandering down nostalga avenue

Acker Bilk would have to be up there for me too (born in Warwickshire) also Frank Sinatra singing jazz standards. Parents used to watch "The Black and White Minstrel Show" when I was a kid, a lot of Rodgers, Hart and Hamerstein etc. Who could forget the big band sound of Glen Miller "In The Mood".
