 New guy Hello everyone I am 21 and have been playing for almost seven years at this point. I am familiar with jazz as I went to a jazz instructor for about 2 years. Hoping to completely immerse myself in jazz - I look forward to contributing and hopefully getting advice on my path. thanks     |

| Hi, glad to see someone on the forum that hasn't been playing for three decades. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but I'd like to hear more comments and reflections from newer players like myself (3 years). I hope you'll post a lot. If you've been playing for seven years, you've got a lot of advice of your own to share. |
