Default Hello guys

Hi, been on this forum for some time in some capacity but now formally introducing myself.
I try to play in the style of Kenny Burrell/jazz blues and quite liking Kessel. Try to play gypsy but I have too many fingers and brain gets in way!!
I live in south west Scotland and would like to hook up with like minded souls. Am presently hanging out with rock/folk guitarist that look at me with a vacant expressions when I introduce Maj7 min7 b5 etc.
That reminds me of a joke,
Whats the difference between a blues guitarist and a jazz guitarist?
A blues guitarist entertains 1000's of people with 3 chords...........ha ha.
Anyhoo, Hi and helloo...

Hello Jazzbow,

I am pleased to see your thread. I'm a newcomer to this inspiring site and I would humbly like to ask if you could recommend some Burrell material from your jazz collection. Many thanks :-)

Thanks kooldanny. The following CD's are all recommended, 'Midnight blue', 'guitar forms' and 'blues bash' with jimmy smith. There's a wealth of blues licks on midnight blue, especially 'mule.' Definately a late night listening with a nice malt whiskey!
Pierre Richard, whats your main KB MB fave track??
