 Hi, everybody! New forum member here! Greetings from Canada! My name's Dave, and I've been a musician (amateur, semi-pro, pro at various times) for over 45 years. My main instruments at the moment are guitar (I'm fairly new to jazz structures, though) and violin (I've come to jazz, Grappelli-style, through celtic and old-time). I'm currently working on my own jazz/Tin Pan Alley/American Songbook fake book for violin and guitar. I've got 70 tunes or so transcribed, most with bowing and fingering suggestions and a few with jazz chord accompaniments (I'm still working on that!) I hope to checking in with this forum on a more-or-less daily basis, so I'm curious to see what goes down hereabouts! Talk to you soon!      |
