Default Greetings from Madrid

Hi, everybody. Miguel posting here from Madrid.

My musical background is as follows:
Junior high 1st chair flute. Upright bass in high school orchestra. Yes, I know.

I ended working mostly with electric and upright bass. I went for a little bit to the University of Miami, played a bit in NYC though at that point I was already stuck with a bank job. Once work and child consumed more time than was available playing got shoved in the closet to gather a lot of dust.

I'm back, kind of, on and off, and with the guitar rather than bass. Lately I've been getting cranked up again. Since it's been so way, way long since I did any respectable playing I'm starting with scales and going up from there.

I have a nice Samick JZ4, a Yamaha Pacifica T-style, a slim Ovation, and a no name classical. I'm playing the Yamaha mostly (I love Ed Bickert a lot, btw).

I hope to learn a lot from everyone here. I'm happy I found this forum!
