Default hello - recovering guitar addict

Hello, and what a great site!

I was originally turned on to this sight through a link to the thread of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas". This thread references a very nicely performed chord melody on YouTube, which I had to learn. I've since transcribed the piece (GuitarPro rocks) and will post it soon, hopefully to the delight of those on the thread. I've browsed around and found a trove of links, attachments and discussion here. Awesome.

The recovering addict title refers to the fact that I have been consumed by the guitar in the past, and had to go cold turkey for months at a time. It's just endless fun. These days I think I've found a reasonable cadence with my playing and learning.

If I was good enough I would be doin it full time - hey wouldn't we all.

Marc

Welcome to the group Marc, but this is the wrong place if you are trying to recover from guitar. Where are you located?
