Guitar New here.

Hi Guys,

My name is Alex. I've been playing guitar for 8 years, and love jazz, fusion and improvising. My favorite players are Pat Martino, Joe Pass, Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell, Barney Kessel, Chic Corea, and Scott Henderson.

I have some theory knowledge, and I try to simplify things and break them down to easilly understandable components.

I am currently struggling with vocabulary and playing over chord changes.

I am hoping we can discuss theory on here, and mental approaches to playing over chord changes.

I am a big fan of Pat Martino's approach to superimposing various minor scales over dominant chords. I also am a fan of Scott Henderson's method of organizing jazz theory, and Joe Pass' approach to learning only simple and effective chord forms.

Peace!
