 Introduction of Myself Hello everybody, I have been snooping around this forum for the past month getting useful information from you guys and I finally decided to stop mooching and just join the site!  I have been playing guitar since I was 15, I'm 25 now and have been bitten by the Jazz bug, bitten hard. I had previously NO jazz knowledge, experience or interest, and yet now I find myself reading everything I can find on the subject, watching documentaries and interviews on youtube, and yes of course, listening to jazz! Thanks to all of those who have posted about suggested listening for new comers to jazz, I have started my own little jazz collection now based on your recommendations. I have just started lessons, because even though I have been playing guitar for a long time, I never took the time to get into theory, so I am basically starting from scratch. I look forward to getting to know you guys, and learning a lot from you as well! Thank you sincerely, Noah     |

 welcome noahsan... much..i mean much information here on any thread you care to follow....work on the weakest part of your playing...first..when you need more of the fresh brain...lean the heads to as many tunes as you can...you can like me learn thousands of tunes..but alas..I do not know them all.... time on the instrument..pierre |
