Default Just saying Hi

Hello out there in jazz land ..I've been reading this web for a few yrs but this is my first post..My name is Zac Chandler I'm basicaly a rock/jazz guitar player love the old west coast be-bop stuff..u know the stuff that's realy out there..I've got 2 albums out I try to include a few jazz style type of jams on them..I've been playin guitar since I was 13..now 53..I play a fender "Showmaster" (realy just a super strat) thru Blues deville 2/12 60watt combo..I have a small 24 trk studio in my bedroom (that's where I record my albums)..Was playing live for 3 yrs straight w/no interruptions but the economic crunch hit our bar circuit so I grab what I can(Ive played large venues as well)..I wish all the guitar players good fortune in this world of new computer music making sound..dont get me wrong i use the computer to record and edit and do anything i can get away with to make me sound better but I still play what i record ..so keep playin and keep the art form alive...Zac ps love Mike Stern's playin

Cool My grandmother played a b=3 w/ a leslie speaker.. as the years went on she sold it to a rock band in San Diego..The Ellis you are referring to is he Tinsley Ellis? (Blues gtr player) if not excuse me..If yes I played bass for him when we were in High school we sucked..But thru the yrs we got better and he landed a contract w/Alligator records..Its a small world..do u gig much and where are u located and any recordings I can hear? I love gtr so much I dig most anything but that be-bop free form stuff blows me away..ever hear of Randy Bernsen he's a local down hear in s.fla ?..anyway I talk too much keep in touch your new friend ZAc
