Hi, I just joined this site today, and since I have gotten back into playing regularly from a 5-7 year hiatus I have bumped into it a few times.

I played a lot of jazz in college in the 90's and then after changing careers from a Music Teacher to IT, my overall playing was little to non-existent for about 7 years. Recently I have gotten back into practicing regularly as well as listening to jazz daily, building my chops back up and trying to re-learn everything from my college days! Eventually I would like to start gigging again, but I will probably need another 6 months of practice before I feel comfortable playing live again.

I look forward to contributing as much as I can, but I think for awhile it will be the other way around !
