Default Hello from the Quad Cities

Rock Island, Moline, Davenport, and Bettendorf. Hi to everyone on this great information board. I'm a long time player and can get around the neck just fine, when I wanted to know why I could play what I was playing, I started studying theory and found this site. Glad to be here and keep the good stuff coming.

No not me. That was Spike O'Dell "Spike at the mike". He just retired from a Chicago station, maybe WLS. Spike is the name of my band and I believe we had the name first. I could be wrong. Originating in 1973 and on and off untill mid ninties and from then band together today.

Mississippi,
That's why they call it the Quad Cities. Some people tried to adopt "Quint Cities" but sounded to much like Twin Cities.

Bettendorf High School class of 73'

I grew up in East Moline, but I left in 72, been back a few times since so many new changes. North Park mall was dead as I remembered

located s. of Hiroshima
I just play for my own intertainment. I write my own stuff, basic guitar with lyrics, it's my hobby these days other than working. Should be retired like Spike but the job is more fun than work these days.
Oh yeah, Spike was a classmate of mine at UTHS So I got one year up on you. I have a 92 telecaster and an 85 Brit Marshall combo. Not much of a guitar player though, just mostly into songwriting.
