Default I'm away for a month...

... starting on Saturday the 12th. Have a good Christmas and New Years everybody. I'll be here, and probably not on the 'net.

Just don't sail past Somalia on your way there. I'm not sure that jazz community could scrape together your ransom.

Have a good trip.

You might want to check out these guys while you're there.

Find a musician or band in Mauritius

I would love it if more Polytones were logged by other members. I'm hoping to end up with about 100 complete auctions to give a good idea of what they go for.

My wife's parents are from Mauritius and they're coming with us; they wanted to show their grandchildren some of their heritage. My in-laws are also inveterate smugglers. In previous trips to the island they've brought back a large stuffed turtle (must carve some picks from it one day) and that must suggestive fruit of the vegetable kingdom, the coco fesse (chocolate bum):

Default polytone

I just sold a Polytone (circa 1978) mini-teenybrute 100 watts/10" speaker for $300.00 + shipping on eBay.
