Make it new. Hi everyone,
New to the forums here. My name is Adam and I consider myself an improvising guitarist-in-training, living and going to college in Massachusetts where I'm majoring in Music and concentrating in Jazz Studies.
I'm not sure if I'm going to pursue a career in music or not, but I do know that one of my life goals is to discover my musical voice and be able to translate it onto the fretboard. I feel that nothing would make me happier.
That said, I join this forum with the hope that I will be able to talk to other jazz guitarists and like-minded people and that we will be able to share in the endless trials and tribulations that come with attempting to master this amazing instrument and the ever-changing musical landscape that comprises the language of jazz improvisation.
I'm a huge Pat Metheny fan and he's my biggest inspiration. I guess that's about it for now. I'm probably going to hop over to some of the other forums and start posting/responding. Bye!
