Interesting I had a beautiful lucid dream last night

I was reading about lucid dreaming the other day. It was actually Dirk of jazzguitar.be who wrote about lucid dreaming in the recommended books section that got me reading more about this thing. I've had a few lucid dreams before, but this one was quite special.

So last night I dreamed about nothing special until at some point I was in a dark corridor feeling the walls trying to find my way. Then suddenly I realized that "Hey, this is just a dream, I don't have to be doing this" And then I raised my hands lo and behold the entire corridor was lit with white light. Also Bach's Air started playing with an orchestra and a beautiful choir singing some parts. Then I tried to lift my body into the air and I began floating in mid-air just enjoying this great feeling. Then I thought "How can I hear all this beautiful music so vividly from just my imagination, could it perhaps be playing in the room I'm sleeping in?" And that thought woke me up gradually as I could still hear the beautiful Bach piece fading away into the dark early morning hours . What a thrill! Any of you had any similar experiences? I think I should start a dream journal and get more involved in this phenomenom, it's fascinating!

I used to keep a dream journal, and got quite a bit out of it at the time. It is a discipline, and can have quite an effect on your life. I used to be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and found that most people just don't want to be that introspective. Thanks for the story.
