I dug out my "old" Charlie Christian CD to have some good music on a trip up to Syracuse, and once again realized I needed to woodshed. Got home, started figuring out some solos and decided to dig out my transcribed CC book that I bought years back.
Where is it? Found the Charlie Parker book, found a bunch of fake books - where da heck is my Christian book?!? Aaaarrgh!
So I went online to see if there was a PDF version for sale. What I found was this fantastic site, which also had a link to a FREE pdf version of the book I had bought years ago. In fact, it's even better than the one I had!

My name is Russell Alexander, I'm a professional guitarist/singer (35 years), have a touring blues band (UK & Europe), and am keenly aware of my lack of real prowess in jazz guitar - despite having a well known jazz vibist (Ray Alexander) as my dad. I'm planning on reading through as much of this site as I can, and maybe get (and give) some tips.

I noticed there's nothing on here about Joe Monk, who was not only a fantastic player but also an incredible teacher. If you get a chance, check out the website dedicated to his memory.
