 New member Hi everybody. I play guitar since I was 18. I took some lessons, learn some blues licks... Not much until I joined a rockabilly band in 2000 and started to learn new things to play some western swing, too. In recent years I started listening more and more jazz and now I'm decided to learn. I'm working through Berkelee Modern Method 1, learning the major scale and arpegios around the fretboard and trying to transcribe Ben Webster Autumn Leaves. Also improvising around the melody over it. When I'm done with all this I plan to join Jimmy Bruno's institute and keep reading here, too, of course.     |
