Guitar Jazz Torch songs--anyone publish a fake-book?

I've been scouring the net for what might be a fairly inclusive Fake book for old jazz torche songs things like
  1. You're my thrill
  2. Cry me a river
  3. Guess I'll hang my tears out to dry
  4. Good morning heartache
...&etc. All I need are the right chords, and lyrics etc. I have a ton of fake books and a few are in each one, but I hate pouring through all of them to find one song. And some of the old good ones, are really hard to find. I wish I had enough of an ear to just listen to one of my albums and just write them down, but I'm not there yet.

Any suggestions? And is this the right forum for asking such a question, or should I have chosen another?

Good question. I have never seen them organized like that anywhere.

I use the Real Vocal Book Vol 1 & 2 as well as Just Standards Real Book. I don't have anything that has everything, but between those three I usually find what I need.

A Jazz Torch Song Fake Book would be nice.

Hi Derek and Stackabones;
Derek, I do believe that it's high time someone put something like that out for sale. If I wanted to compile my own, I have the facilities to take one of my purchased CD's and load it into some software I have that would give me an approximate rendering of the chords and structures, then print out a lead sheet, but I hate to do that--think it's forbidden. But I'd gladly pay for a good one.
Stakabones; Yes, I do have those already, and they cover most, but not all of the ones I'd like to have. For instance, where do you find "You're My Thrill?" I may have to get Diana Krall's new "Quiet Nights" song book that she sells on her website for that. It really doesn't help that the internet is putting record companys and publishers out of business!!!

Hi guys,
I'm a newbie here, but thought I should chime in on this one.
I have "You're My Thrill" in a fakebook. JazzLTD.
If you want, I'd be more than happy to send you a copy. You will however, have to instruct me on how to do this! I am quite computer illiterate!
Cheers, Ron

Hi RonD,
Thanks for the offer, but I'd probably buy the book if I could get the ISBN number, full name, and publisher. That would be great! Thanks,

Yeah, it's a constant hunt. I use this to help out ...
The Fake Book Index
And then use my libary or InterLibary Loan to find the book.

btw, "You're My Thrill" didn't show up on that index -- so you may have to get the Krall book.

Thanks, Stackabones!
That index is a valuable addition to my resources. I'll take more time to look at it in depth when I have a chance.
