 Hi from the forum noob! Hi there, I'm Jimmy. I've been playing guitar on and off for quite a few years now. I was always fascinated by John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu and Shakti stuff but felt it was wayyyy beyond me  . These days I've got the Chris Whitley bug  so I'm trying to get my fingers around that! I look forward to hanging out and playing more guitar!    |

| Thanks for the tip! I've never been to Japan. What are you up to there? I was in Mumbai India last year. That's pretty wild  and I did enjoy it!I'm also fascinated with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. He's in India somewhere. He was a disciple of Ravi Shankar and invented the Mohan Veena, a modified Hawaiian guitar. See ya 'round! Jimmy |
