| | Another guitar player Hi everyone,
My name is Hashi and I've been playing jazz guitar for awhile. Grew up around Detroit (the old motor city/Motown) and am now in Southern Cal.
I've been addicted to jazz (a jazz-a-holic) for many years. I've not really seen a jazz guitar forum before, but thought it would be cool to hang out and listen to what's going on here.
I've been having a few hand problems lately (trigger finger) so am seeing if by joining this forum, I can use typing to make it worse instead of always playing guitar ;)
Cheers,
Hashi
I've got some tunes uploaded (some solo, most probably , and some multi-tracked) here at YouTube - Kanaal van hachamacha |

Now there's something I needed to learn ;) I noticed that when I tried to locate myself on YouTube using "hashi" as the search, that I got a ton of Japanese based hits. Now I have some idea why.
Well, I do like chopsticks and Japanese food (as well as about 1400 other ethnicities).
Thanks,
Chopsticks. |

I think I've only seen one other jazz-oriented forum and don't think I ever saw anyone reply there. So far, this is much nicer.

I'll try to send it to you, let me know if you get it. YouTube - Kanaal van hachamacha | Hi mississippi,
Thanks. I have no idea why the youtube page is showing up as Japanese unless it's some setting based on your regional setup? The URL looks fine and is what I use to get there, which shows it in English. I did notice that the 'forum' here interprets the URL "title" and it interpreted mine as something I couldn't recognize ( YouTube - Kanaal van hachamacha ) .
So what makes you ask about the Rock Island train line? I only know a little about that because one of my brothers and I were complete train travel nuts as kids and that name is one we knew. I lived ~500 miles from the beginning of it I think.
Anyway, lets see what the forum calls the YouTube page now: http://www.youtube.com/user/hachamacha
Note:: OK, So I just previewed this and had been using youtube.com/hachamacha which shows up as Kanaal van Hachamacha (whatever that is), and then I looked at my website and realized it was either youtube.com/user/hachamacha, or youtube.com/hachamacha, but apparently there is some difference. Could you please let me know if the link above this paragraph is in English?
Thanks,
Hashi |

What I think I got is your channel, anyway since I'm here in Japan I guess my computer puts everything in japanese including your site.
Rock Island is where I spent time growing up and I saw that you were from the midwest, just thought I'd ask |

| | The new 'me' (in search of my old username) Hello again. I was dealing with surgical aftermath for a year or so and returned, only to realize, I don't know my password, my email address that I used here, or anything else, so I created this new account with the name I use on YouTube.
I was wondering if there's some way I can recover my old account "Hashi" and use it despite knowing nothing about the details?
Not a very important thing, but it seems silly to have two accounts here.
Thanks, Hashi. Quote:
