Newbie! Hola amigos!

Hi,

My name is Sam and I'm a new member of this forum. I'm from Spain but I live in north Indiana since 2009.

I've been sporadically playing guitar for 10 years, so I'm not a good player. I started playing rock and metal. Since I listened to Joe Pass music (3 years ago) I've realized what a great style I was missing.

A year ago, I bough Mel Bay's Complete Guitar Method by Mike Christiansen and I started to learn the chords. I'm kind of stack in my progression and I will address my issues in another thread.

I have three guitars: Heritage Flat top, Heritage H-170 (I want to sell it), and Gibson Les Paul Recording. In the future, If I'm good playing jazz, I would like to have an Arch top. I play through a Kalamazoo Model One and an old Dukane mic amplifier. I use mostly the Flat top to play jazz (no need for amplification).

Thanks for reading my post,
Sam
