Default Hello Everyone!

Been lurking here from time to time, what a great forum.
Practicing for about 1/2 century maybe now I can learn a song.

Cheers, Bill

That is so true.. I spent so much time learning music theory, finding the calculus of it all (okay I admit, I came from an I.T. background -- geek), and practiced technique.. sometimes cool stuff comes from that.. but now, I decided to just learn songs and sophisticated licks.. The theory has started to become apparent and the technique helps speed up the learning process.. I hear ya Bill, been there too..

Must Read Greetings

Joined a few weeks ago. Have already learned a great deal. Knew the same 8 chords for 20 years. Have vowed to teach myself jazz, learn the fingerboard and as many chord forms as my brain can handle.

after doing a bit of research on this site I got the william leavitt Berklee intro 1 & 2 books and find them challenging but very helpful.
