Newbie! Hello from Southern Oregon, USA
I love the forum and have been lurking for a while soaking up good info and vibes. Thanks guys.

I'm a new player who loves everything from hard bop to jazzy blues, to chord melody work.

Currently I have the following gear: Ovation Elite, '52 reissue Tele with 12g flats, and ............on back order (pant pant).... a Godin 5th Ave. Playing (ha, it really hasn't reached that point yet) through a Fender Super Champ XD.

At this time my appreciation of tone, rhythm, feeling, far outstrips my abilities but as in everything else, if you keep at it you get better.

BTW, I'm 66 now and been wanting to do this all my life so who cares if I ever end up on a stage. If I can get a good Rhythm Changes going I'll be happy.
