 New in North Carolina Hi from Western North Carolina. I recently joined after lurking for a while. Hoping to learn something new after playing only nylon strings for about 50 years. Starting with folk and pop, but mostly jazz and classical now. Guitar design and lutherie fascinates me. I love archtops and classicals (they were called "classic guitars" in the 60's and over half the guitars sold were nylon string!) I don't see myself becoming a steel string player unless it's an archtop with flat wounds or maybe a GJ guitar. Hopefully, with some inspiration from the forum, my playing will evolve.
