Only got one thing to say sylvian, wowwwwwww incredible playing man.If i could play like that i wouldn't be worrying about searching for more information, but i guess that's how you achieve such a high standard, always trying to improve.I once saw an interview with Wynton Marsalais where he warned about complacency y,saying that the complaisant musician never moves forward.I would love to know about your thought process or even lack of it when you are playing.Could you tell us a bit about how you approach improvisation.Do you have licks or do you just play what comes to you etc.Peace .

Really nice job....I'm trying to get to where I can play those lines as effortlessly as you. BTW you have excellent taste in 'picking partners'.

Hi thanks for checking out my video! I'll exchange with you with pleasure.
I guess idiomatic improvisation is like language, u gotta have some licks under your fingers and let them come up as you play(speak), and connect them with "real "improvisation using your ear.
Indeed, there are lots of things to say....Mike Stern ( great player) uses lots licks .....Jim Hall( awesome player) is less lick-oriented and leans more towards "real" improvisation....
best,
Sylvain
