Must Read Introduction and Merry Christmas

Greetings all and Merry Christmas! I'm a lapsed novice and determined to finally get serious about the guitar. Traded my '66 Fender Mustang (that I hadn't touched in many years) for some cash and a made in Japan classical a few years back, and that hasn't seen much use either (until just recently). I'll be looking into a G&L Bluesboy, either Cali. or Indonesian made (depending on finances) when I become more proficient.
Happy to be here,
Morgan (my real name, I figured some might get a kick out of the Spinal Tap reference)

Welcome! I am a G&L owner myself. I think I would go for one of their U.S models. They are well worth the extra cash, used they are a bargain.

Newbie!

Thanks for the good advice! I'm digging your utube video Of Blue Ritz and just ordered your CD. I want to clarify that I'm at best a novice guitar player and an embryo when it comes to jazz guitar. But I'm a long time jazz listener and excited about learning.
