Default How old are your guitars

Since a new year is arriving and we look at our guitars getting a year older now, I thought this would be interesting to ask.

I only have one guitar and I bought it new in 93, but the serial no. is a 92 make. It's a Fender Telecaster Deluxe Plus. So I guess it will be turning 20 years old. The neck has got them brown spots on it as if someone has actually been playing it all these years.

I have a Guild F-212 made in 1964, bought in 1965. It's been with me, more or less in order, through my last year of high school, dropping out of two colleges. One failed marriage, one failed engagement, ten years playing sleazy gin mills, 15 years in low level retail management, a successful second marriage, three college degrees and, most recently, 15 years as a teacher in a juvenile prison. Neither of us have aged as gracefully as we'd like. I also have a 1930s Metro B archtop, probably made by, or at least marketed by, Bacon and Day. It sound nice but could probably use a neck reset. I hope I'm in as good shape after another 15-20 years.
