Default First Jazz gig went well!

Hey guys, I introduced myself a couple of weeks ago, and thought I'd let you know how my first gig in a jazz guitar/vocal duo went....

We played 3 sets of around 10-12 songs each, with a great alto singer (she is very easy on the eye too, which is a plus for the audience!). It was my first gig with a vocalist in which I had to cover all of the musical accompaniment, it really made me work on comping, inversions, and simultaneous basslines.
I also got to debut my new (second-hand) Joe Pass Epi, which sounds and looks very authentic for this type of gig.
We had a blast, got paid, fed sushi, beer and red wine....I could get used to this!

Thanks for letting me relive the gig with you all! Good luck to everyone else out there preparing for thir next performances!

Deano.
