 Greetings From The Big Apple Hi everyone, I just joined this forum and live in NYC. I just got back into guitar playing after an absence of several years. I have previously focused on Chicago style blues lead playing, but am now more focused on jazz, as well as some traditional blues. Things that are a current priorities are learning chords (historically, my rhythm playing has been pretty much limited to two note shuffle rhythms), learning the notes on the fretboard so I do not need to depend on tablature, and the most important scales. This seems to be a great site and I look forward to much participation and I think I will learn a lot.
