Default Hello from Omaha

Hello all you jazz cats! I'm a guitarist, drummer, keyboardist, bassist, singer who has played rock all my life from oldies to metal. I played country as well when it paid and I also teach. I grew up with blues around me and just this last spring, I recorded and produced my first blues CD. Towards the end of the album process, I was listening to many blues artists and Robben Ford attracted me to a jazz flavor that I'd not appreciated in the past. I explored his style and checked out many others and discovered that jazz is an aquired taste. I bought a couple of Robben Ford dvds and also one from Jimmy Bruno and self educated myself further so I could amass more information for my own students. Before I knew it, I was writing my second CD which has a blues/progressive jazz feel. Just when I felt I would have nothing to learn or growth in playing, I once again became a work in progress! I've discovered that the more I learn, the less I know...
