Default Hi mr B

Could you just explain to me please what a moderator does on a forum.Congratulations on becoming one though whatever it is.Also it feels a bit like when i was still working and one of your mates would be promoted to foreman, suddenly you seemed to view them differently,so i hope were still mates and you will still eat your lunch at the same table as us.

Ah, it doesn't mean too too much...

I can remove posts if they are spam or really offensive, and I can give members who get out of line a warning...basically, I can help keep this place as cool as I know it can be.

I will most definitely still be eating lunch with you guys.

Censorship is a slippery slope. I'm not sure if anyone has the wisdom, compassion, and impartiality to do it well; but I hope you survive the journey, Jeff.

You're a nice cat with a level head. You'll do a great job.

Well, don't take it too seriously, I'm certainly not.

Just gonna delete some spam and remind folks to cool off if things get too heated. Gonna post some "Common Sense" forum rules, I think...nothing too constricting...no need to worry about "the man" bringing any of us down...
