 I have an Eastman 805CE with the Kent Armstrong "designed" floating PU. I really like the tone but its response leaves a lot to be desired (especially on the high E). I replaced it with an SD Benedetto 6, which has great response and is very consistent through all the strings. Unfortunately, it lacks a lot of the "soul" of the Kent Armstrong, so I have been thinking about getting one of the "made by Kent" units. So, I would also be very interested in what others think.     |
