Default Ello Guvna!

Hey everyone Newbie here.

I'm 25, been playing 17 years and I'm finally getting into the jazz side of things. The "gateway drug" you could say for me was my exposure to Kurt Rosenwinkel.

My mom used to listen to George Benson quite a bit when I was younger but I was never fully grabbed by jazz until more recently. Prior to this I've been a blues/rock guy with influence from people like Hendrix and SRV, Derek Trucks etc.

But the melodicism and dense chords structures combined with some airy piano paints much more vivid pictures in my brain lately, so here I am, at the bottom of the jazz mountain! Excited
