Default Greetings..

Good evening, everyone. I'm a 50 yr old guitar player, mandolin player, along with my old trumpet, trombone, sax, (i.e. multi-instrumentalist).

I am primarily a rock and blues guitar player, but have loved jazz and want to really focus on jazz chords, phrases, melodies, etc...

Hi there Butch and welcome to the forum. Did you just get bored with each instrument and start another one?

Ha ha ha... No, I just picked up an instrument, then another and another, over the years.

I started out on trumpet way back in 4th grade in elementary school. Around the same time, I started plucking away on my older sister's guitar, so my parents bought me my own acoustic guitar. So, I guess the trumpet and the guitar are my two main instruments, if you want to pair it down to just two.
