| | interesting Hey Mr. B! I have made that drive several times in years gone by before I retired in Payson, Az. However, I never made it during any kind of bad weather. I love Chicago and all the great blues/jazz that has originated there over the years. We had some heavy duty snow in Payson a few weeks ago and we were snowed in for a few days. That snow storm provided me a good opportunity to jam along with the radio and BIAB. Best wishes to you.

| | Fucque, one out-of-shape guy. one shovel. 50 lb bag of salt. 4 foot snow drifts along sidewalks, front entrance, and driveway. Done!
Too tired to even hold a guitar. hello bed! |

| | Just woke from a nap. I hurt worse than after my first week of boxing training back in college. Did my driveway AND the elderly couple's across the street. Plenty of assholes in the neighborhood with snowblowers, but only me and my neighbor helped these folks out. What's with people.
I need to get back in shape.
No school tomorrow, again...two days in a row, in a school system that previously hadn't called a snow day since 1999. I guess that pretty much says it all! |

| | The snow is here in Nebraska, too... not quite that bad, luckily. Wife has a 150 mile (round trip) commute to work, so she's been staying with a friend in the city until it warms back up a bit. Like, April, maybe?
I'd let her drive the old 4x4 truck to work, but it only gets about 8 MPG on a good day, downhill with the wind at your back. Would cost too much. |

If the whole place had been trashed there would be the usual scary/spectaculer footage. |

| | We're on day 3 of ice, school closings, etc in the land of Super Bowl LXV. High today will be 22F. It's supposed to be in the 50s on game day. |

| | I like Chicago but, I am glad to be in Seattle right now. I had the best steak in my life in Chicago. Lived in New Orleans for a couple of years. Left the year before Katrina. A hurricane that year scared my family out or I'd likely still be in that neighborhood. |

| | Incredible! You plagiarise someone else's post as your introduction to the forum. There's only one possible conclusion I can draw from that - you're a spammer with a poor grasp of English. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
