Missing Italian girl

Hi all.

Noemi Duca is a 20 y.o. girl from Rome, Italy, where she lives with her parents. She hasn't been seen or heard since the 15th of January, when she went to Umbria (Italy) for the weekend. By now she might be abroad, so I thought to bring her disappearance to your attention.

Think positive. Pretty girl like her could easily have met a young man, especially in the country of amore. When you're young and in love one never thinks others might be concerned. Keep the faith.

I work in a hotel in Barcelona and have worked all the weekend. I haven't seen her. You say that by now she might be abroad. Any country in particular? In Europe? Buona fortuna!

She's a friend of a friend of mine, so I don't know much about her, actually.

Sarebbe una cosa molto importante il sapere in chè paese lei stà e communicarlo alla polizia.
It would be an important thing to know what country she might be in and report it to the police.

Sì, lo so che era in Italia quando è scomparsa ma tu dici che potrebbe essere all'estero ormai. Se ci si aspetta che lei fosse ormai all'estero allora stava progettando una vacanza a lungo, no? O dovveva essere già ritornata?

Yes, I know she was in Italy when she disappeared but you say she might be abroad by now. If you expect her to be abroad by now then she was planning a long holidays, wasn't she? Or should she already be back home?

Ho guardato il link nel tuo primo post e vedo chè lei era andata per un solo fine da settimana il 14 gennaio con il suo fidanzato. Il suo padre lo sapevva ed ha ricevuto un strano sms da lei ma adesso sempre ha il telefonino spento.
Suppongo che la sua famiglia lo ha denunciato alla polizia. Comunque, ci sono notizie circa il suo fidanzato?

I've seen the link in your first post and I see that she went away for just a weekend on January the 14th with her boyfriend. Her father knew about that and he got a strange sms from her but now she always has her phone off.
I suppose that her family has reported this to the police. Anyway, are there any news about her boyfriend?

Presently I only know that her parents got hold of her.
