Default Introducing myself.

In the world of guitars, I am what's known as 'The Wallet". I don't play, but I have a 22 year old who is a seroious Jazz player, graduating with a Music Ed degree this Spring. I've been listening for years now and have quite a grasp of EVERYTHING about guitars other than playing. Considering a grad present of a new SR Jam 150 to supplement the collection. He's currently playing an Eastman and a Samick mostly through a Roland BassCube 100. I think the SR is a great choice as we both fell in love at the Montreal Jazz Fest. Any thoughts out there?

I don't know the amp myself, but it looks like a quality thing, and if he likes it, then go for it.

Peace,
Kevin
