Check This Out! Hello to all

Just a quick note to say hello to all, I am a new member, and new to the world of JAZZ GUITAR, I have been playing for many years but never got into JAZZ. I love TEXAS SWING, and that is what got me interested in trying to learn JAZZ GUITAR.
I have a Hofner "NEW PRESIDENT" in mint condition I would like to sell or trade. My other guitar is a Heritage Golden Eagle...I just don't play the Hofner any more.

May I ask, I do not have an amp that will bring out the tone of my Hofner. It its factory installed Hofner Humbucker. Would I get better tone from a different pick up? OR would I be better off with a better suited amp? What would you suggest? Which pick up, and what amp? Marty

Hi Marty and welcome to the forum

I hope to buy a Heritage guitar one day. I've only heard good things about them and I believe Roy Clark played them at one time.

Hi Marty, welcome to the show. As for amps, check this section: Guitar Setup | Guitars, Guitar Amps, Effects, Strings, Picks

You'll find quite a range. I've got good jazz tome from Vox AC 30, old Fender Bassman, most any old Fender will do it. Some popular ones are Roland Jazz and Cubes, Polytone.
