Newbie! Hello and Happy Holidays!

Hope you all have safe and fun holidays!
I have been playing guitar for about 30 years (blues, rock, and some classical, tried, but never made a living with it.) and am basically a jazz novice. I am hoping to pick up more of the basics of jazz here. I have a wealth of instructional material, both digital and print, but there are some things that just come easier by exposure or tutelage.
So, I am here to learn.
Again, Safe holidays and a good new year for all,
Best,
Randy

Welcome.

Yeah, a good teacher is worth more than all the books put together.

Peace,
Kevin

Watch YouTube vid's! (It's the resource I never had, as a kid.)

And, yes, happy holidays to all.

Thanks Guys,
I am watching the youtube stuff all over the place. Here's something to make you smile, especially if you haven't seen it!

YouTube - Reg Kehoe & His Marimba Queens - A Study in Brown

Stay for the bass solo! This fellow had an all metal upright and a head banging attitude. Amazing.
