| | Greetings from JonnyPac! Hey there y'all! I am another jazz guitarist/composer. I'm pushing thirty this year and live in CA. I began learning guitar and music theory at the age of 15. I am a guitar teacher and manage a small guitar/music shop.
By studying jazz theory books, listening to a steady diet of harmonically sophisticated music, and picking the brains of accomplished local musicians I began to piece together a comprehensive model of chord-scale theory. Currently I compose, arrange, and improvise music with a modal jazz combo, and as a soloist. I am also a director of a modern art gallery, visual artist, photographer, naturalist, European board game enthusiast, and collector of 80’s Battle Beasts action-figures.
I just self-published a book! |

| | You didn't come across that way to me. I just thought you had something to offer and that was the end of it. I in the past posted other websites with guitar lessons and never got any complaints here.
I wouldn't worry about it. |

| | Thanks Jonny. As you know I ordered a copy, and it arrived here in Stockholm quite quickly, Im looking it over now. As with all new books the excitement is high, and it does seem to me to be well organized to me needs, which have to be described as a novice theoretically but getting to learn a bit on the fretboard. As a humble student without a teacher at present, this seems to do something for me. Thanks again. |

| | Hey guys, I just wanted to invite you to look me up on facebook. I am easy to find: Jonathan Pac Cantin ...It's not a commercial page; just me the dude.
I'd be happy to befriend many of you that way for a less formal/impersonal online format. I'm on there every day a bit, and I'd enjoy chatting jazz guitar there as well. Best wishes! |

| | I'm leaving the forums for the time being. I have time-consuming projects and such I need to attend to right now. I've made some nice friends here. Thanks for sharing. I will hopefully hear from you in the future. Best wishes! |

Nice, but lack colour... Are you going to evolve to animated versions?
( PS: I'm still going through the book; I'm just slow..!)

| | I like the one with the Xs over the eyes; I need one for myself to indicate that the only way I can get through certain posts is if I'm loaded.
