 Hey folks! Jazz newbie here! Hey to those who read! :-) Name is mike! (humbly accepting the alternative, "newbie" as well! heh) And i'd just like to - you know - give a wave to everyone. I'm 17 and the fingers of my soul have been officially callused for eternity by music for almost 2 years and they've been the best 2 years of my life so far. I have a big taste for all sorts of music. You name it. Rock, music branching from rock. Some bluegrass and country here and there.... i was really into all that at first. But then when i first picked up a guitar, i've had grown SUCH an appreciation for classical, blues and jazz music... especially fusion. It's only been recent since i've grown attached to jazz.... i've enjoyed it plenty... but lately, i've been OBSESSED over it! I've gained this new hunger to unleash the jazzy side of everything... so i'll definitely be reading on this site when i get the chances to!  I kinda blabbered off there. Hehe... well, anywho.
