 ANOTHER New Member Good day folks, I am a new member here and am very pleased that such a forum exists. Recently, I have become smitten with the works of jazz guitar greats such as Jim Hall, Wes Montogomery, Charlie Christian etc. This comes as a bit of an epiphany as I have been enjoyed being a guitarist for about 35 years. My styles have ranged from pure pop rock, to blues to classical. But alas, the jazz bug had never struck. Now, I dream of playing like Hall, owning a Benedetto and travelling to small clubs playing this art form for individuals in the same mindset. Anyway, I am absolutely terrible as a jazz guitarist, but I want - no - need to learn. I look forward to your advice and learning from the experienced, and not so experienced individuals here. | The good news is, even if you can't play like Jim Hall, you can own a Jim Hall model guitar, from Sadowsky: Sadowsky Guitars | Jim Hall Model And welcome to the forum. |
