Newbie! Hi, new here,

Hi every one, I am a jazz bass player, here to help myself gain a better understanding of the guitarists I play with. I never have played the guitar so dont really know what problems you people come across whilst playing jazz.
I have around 20 yrs experience of playing jazz, I play with 3 jazz groups, a pub & club band, a function band and a originals band and occasionally dep for a Big band.
I always play a fretless bass cos the frets seem to get in the way mentally. I know I am supposed to work with the drummer to form that tight groove, and I do, but I get the biggest kick from when I click with the guitarist of the band and find that I seem to understand where they are coming from.
I'm in Milton Keynes, and always looking for people to create with. I hope I get to know some of you in the future.
