Hi Everyone,
I must apologise. I have been a registered member of the forum for some time now, but I have never posted anything till today. I have been a frequent visitor to this site, and have actually downloaded lots of stuff in the past, but I have never thought of posting anything. I have been playing classical guitar for decades now, but have recently picked up an interest in jazz guitar. I have bought myself a cheap jazz guitar for starters and have immensely enjoyed myself playing walking bass pieces that I have gathered from various sources. Now my goal is to learn jazz chords and scales with the hope of being able to improvise one day. Improvisation has always fascinated me. I dont know how you guys do it, but it has never ceased to impress me how jazz guitarists seem to be just playing things off the tops of their heads, no sheets to read or passages to memorize [is that correct?]. I am looking forward to being an active member of this guitar community.
